Reading Notes: Homer's Iliad, Part A

-Every arc spans several chapters to advance the overall story of the fight between the Greeks and the Trojans.
-Third-person narration lets reader see the thought process in certain characters head's
-Iliad overall has a certain unique writing style I can't identify, but it makes it stick out, so look to incorporate my own voice in my storybooks
-Back and forth dialogue creates a good atmosphere for tension if written well
-Third-person narration makes action writing easier, like combat segment between Patroclus and Sarpedon. Easy to describe and keep swift pacing.
-Book used was Homer's Iliad, retold by A. J. Church
